Job summary

Infusion for Health is seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse for our Mill Valley, California center. This part-time role (3 days, 9am–5pm, totaling 24 hours) offers patient-centered infusion care in a private setting.

The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, and at least 3 years of high-acuity experience (ICU/ER). Infusion experience is preferred; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in high-acuity settings (ICU/ER or similar).
• Infusion experience preferred, but training possible for right candidate.
• Valid RN license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort to private infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about treatments and adverse reactions.
• Administer medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
• Monitor patient conditions and document responses to treatments.
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation and maintain room readiness.
• Handle emergencies calmly and maintain work flow in infusion center.

Position Details: We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to join our center in Mill Valley, California. Part-Time, 3 days, 9am to 5pm, 24 hours total.

What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly pay between $58- $60, with variations based on experience and expertise.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration and patient interaction.
• Recent IV experience.

Essential Functions:

• Welcome patients and escort them to their private infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about their treatments and address any concerns about adverse reactions.
• Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
• Monitor and document patients’ conditions and responses to treatments.
• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Maintain the flow of patient care and manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and well‑stocked.
• Answer phone calls as needed, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
