Job summary

Infusion for Health in La Jolla, California, is seeking a part-time Infusion Registered Nurse for 16 hours weekly (Mon and Fri). The role involves welcoming patients, administering therapies, IV access, and EMR documentation in a private infusion setting.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate Degree in Nursing, a valid RN license, 3+ years in high-acuity areas, and infusion experience or willingness to train. BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort them to their private infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about treatments and address concerns about adverse reactions.
• Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments; ensure EMR documentation is accurate.
• Maintain flow of patient care and manage emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and well-stocked.
• Answer calls as needed, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

Position Details:

We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to join our center in La Jolla, California. Part-Time, Monday and Friday, 16 hours total.

What We Offer:

Qualifications:
