Job summary

Infusion for Health is seeking a part-time Infusion Registered Nurse to join our La Jolla center in California. You will deliver patient-centered infusion therapy in private rooms, educate patients, and coordinate care.

Qualifications

• RN license in California is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience in ICU/ER or similar.
• Infusion experience preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort them to infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about treatments and adverse reactions.
• Administer medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
• Monitor patients and document responses to treatments.
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation and maintain patient flow.
• Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and stocked.
• Answer phone calls while following OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

Position Details:

We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to join our center in La Jolla, California. Part-Time, Monday and Friday, 16 hours total.

What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly pay between $54- $58, with variations based on experience and expertise.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration and patient interaction.
• Recent IV experience.

Essential Functions:

• Welcome patients and escort them to their private infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about their treatments and address any concerns about adverse reactions.
• Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Maintain the flow of patient care and manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and well-stocked.
• Answer phone calls as needed, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
