Job summary

Infusion for Health is expanding its per diem Infusion RN team. We seek experienced nurses to cover centers across California, including Walnut Creek, and Missouri locations such as Wentzenville. This ongoing, as-needed role offers competitive hourly pay and flexible scheduling.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN, have at least 3 years in ICU/ER, infusion experience is preferred, and must be licensed RNs with BLS/ACLS/PALS. Proficiency with EMR and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort them to their private infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about their treatments and address any concerns about adverse reactions.
• Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Maintain the flow of patient care and manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and well-stocked.
• Answer phone calls as needed, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

Position Details: Our company is continuing to grow and we’re looking for Per Diem Infusion RNs to support our centers throughout Calfornia. This is an ongoing, as-needed role. You will be contacted when a center has a need for additional PRNs to provide coverage. Below is a list of our centers:

• Walnut Creek

• Competitive hourly pay between $54- $58, with variations based on experience and expertise.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration and patient interaction.
• Recent IV experience.
