Job summary

AO in Charlotte, NC currently seeks a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. You will deliver specialized infusion therapy, support patients and families, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, effective treatment plans in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is an RN licensed in North Carolina with 1–2 years of infusion or oncology experience, proficient in IV access, and skilled in patient education and supportive care. BLS/CPR required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• 1–2 years infusion, oncology or IV therapy experience preferred.
• Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion and central line management.
• Strong knowledge of infusion medications, protocols, and safety procedures.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Excellent patient communication, critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusion therapies including biologics and other specialty medications.
• Assess, monitor and document patient responses to infusion treatments.
• Establish and maintain peripheral IV access and manage CVADs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, side effects and home care instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to ensure safe treatment plans.
• Identify and respond to adverse reactions or complications promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements
