The role includes patient check-in, appointment scheduling, telephone support, referral coordination, and work queue management within a patient-facing environment. This position offers potential remote work up to two days per week and occasional on-site coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years office experience required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Strong MS Office and Outlook skills are expected.
• Ability to manage phone calls and non-routine inquiries.
• Effective written communication and proofreading abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative functions to support clinical service and practice operations.
• Handle patient visit scheduling, check-in, and check-out duties.
• Make patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
• Assist callers with routine inquiries and triage appropriately.
• Process patient billing forms and scan documents to EPIC.
• Serve as Super User for scheduling, registration and billing systems.
• Provide training and assistance to others in scheduling and billing.
• Handle prior authorizations, provider questions, prescriptions, and test results as needed.
