Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Minimum one (1) year of home infusion or hospital admixture experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical dosage forms.

Responsibilities

• Prepares infusion medications under supervision according to sterile compounding procedures.
• Enters medication and patient demographics into the information system according to procedure.
• Provides staffing support to other pharmacies as needed.
• Assists with inventory control, purchasing, and medication audits.
