Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, via Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, is seeking a Pharmacy Infusion Technician II to assist pharmacists in preparing medications, processing orders, and managing inventory. This role supports delivery of sterile products and requires extensive pharmacy admixture experience.

Ideal candidates have ACPE sterile product certification, IV certification, and 6+ years in pharmacy with strong customer service. Pay ranges reflect hours and benefits included in the package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and completion of Tech Training Program including Sterile Product course.
• ACPE Sterile Products Certification; IV Certification; PTCB certification; TSBP registration.
• 6+ years pharmacy experience, 5+ years in pharmacy admixture.
• Experience with Compounding Sterile Products.
• Order entry, purchasing and inventory experience with medications and supplies.
• Ability to read labels and invoices; answer phone questions; write information on prescriptions.
• Typing 20 wpm; 10-key by touch; cash handling.
• Stress tolerance to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist in preparation of medications.
• Process, compound, and deliver medications in a timely manner.
• Order and inventory management of medications and supplies.
• Process clinic medication requisitions and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain customer service and assist with questions or issues.
