Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in a home infusion setting.

Responsibilities include preparing sterile and non-sterile pharmacy orders, assisting with patient care coordination, and maintaining required documentation and inventory. The role emphasizes compounding, aseptic technique, and adherence to USP 797 guidelines, with potential weekend/holiday on-call based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of six (6) months of hospital or home infusion pharmacy experience with emphasis on compounding/aseptic technique.
• Knowledge of IV access devices preferred.
• Advanced computer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parenteral products under the direction of a registered pharmacist using aseptic technique per USP 797.
• Compound pharmaceutical preparations per prescriptions using low, medium, and high-risk methods.
• Review pharmacy labels to determine products and delivery times.
• Perform medication inventory management and restocking as directed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals for home infusion services.
• Prepare labels, compounding records, and delivery tickets; handle related paperwork.
• Assist warehouse personnel with orders and tracking of infusion equipment.
• Adhere to safety and quality assurance protocols; ensure regulatory compliance.
