Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist licensed Pharmacists by reviewing basic prescription refills, preparing medications, and maintaining equipment per policies. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient service, and teamwork within a large infusion network.

You will collect patient information, support deliveries, manage inventory, and maintain a clean, compliant work environment while adhering to state regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning materials and prescriptions.
• Answer basic patient questions to support a positive patient experience.
• Receive, verify, stock, and track inventory; schedule routine patient deliveries.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows.
• Maintain organization of supplies.
• Supervisory responsibilities: No.
