UnitedHealth Group in Houston, TX is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our Ambulatory Infusion/Pharmacy team. The role involves ordering and inventory management, compounding, labeling sterile products, data entry, and coordinating with patients and providers.
It requires a Texas license and an active PT certification; on-site, Monday–Friday schedule, 7 AM–7 PM within 4620 S Sam Houston Pkwy W. We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly pay range.
Qualificações
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacy Technician license.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB).
- Completion of a pharmacy technician certification program (CPhT).
Responsabilidades
- Assist with ordering, receiving, counting, and maintaining inventory.
- Unpack and store according to storage/refrigeration requirements.
- Label prepared compounded sterile products.
- Enter prescriptions from intake to order completion and verify member data.
- Communicate with patients, pharmacists, and doctors to coordinate care.
- Follow HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
