Job summary

Baptist Health in Miami is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our trusted, not-for-profit health system. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will prepare and distribute medications, fill and label stock, and support IV preparation in a fast-paced hospital setting.

We value dedicated professionals with a high school diploma or equivalent, pharmacy technician certification, and at least one year of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician duties under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Experience with Pyxis and IV admixture processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and pharmacy information systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Fill and label medications, refill Pyxis, deliver meds to patient care areas.
• Prepare IV admixture solutions.
• Answer telephone and route calls to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain medication stock levels and proper storage.
