Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare and distribute under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Duties include IV admixtures, ADC refills, labeling, delivering meds to care areas, stocking, and maintaining safe storage with a focus on patient safety.

Estimated pay range is $22.32–$29.02 per hour, commensurate with experience. Minimum 3 years of technician experience, sterile and hazardous compounding skills preferred, with licensure as a Pharmacy

These duties include but are not limited to: preparing non-hazardous and hazardous IV admixtures, refilling automated dispensing cabinets (ADC), filling and labeling medications, answers the telephone and routes the call as appropriate, delivers medications to patients care areas, maintains medication stock levels, maintains proper storage of medications to ensure safe and cost effective pharmaceutical care services, maintains general pharmacy organization and cleanliness and provides exceptional customer service. Proficient in basic computer skills and appropriately uses information systems, technology and automation to complete the assigned task. Estimated pay range for this position is $22.32 - $29.02 / hour depending on experience.
