Option Care Health is seeking a detail‑oriented pharmacy support professional to assist under a licensed pharmacist. You will help with prescription processing, medication dispensing, and patient information gathering to ensure accurate, timely orders. Inventory control, equipment maintenance, and basic patient inquiries are also part of the role.

The position emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and adherence to policy, with a path to growth in a large infusion care organization.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting, and aligning text, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prescription & Equipment Preparation and Processing - Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to OCH policies and procedures.
• Assists with preparing and dispensing medications & supplies and maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and reporting defects.
• Patient Support & Experience - Collect & maintain basic patient information and respond to basic patient questions and requests.
• Inventory Maintenance - Receive and verify quantities, stock supplies, review expiration dates, identify shortages, and track inventory in systems.
