Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists in processing prescriptions, preparing medications, and maintaining equipment in a compliant, patient-focused environment.

You will handle inventory, assist with patient information, ensure order accuracy, and help deliver timely supplies. The role emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and quality service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience preferred.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months where required by state.
• Completion of the OCH training course within 6 months if licensure/training required.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription refills and process per policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, and cleaning.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning.
• Support patient experience by answering questions and requests.
• Receive and verify incoming supplies and materials; stock and organize.
• Review expiration dates and identify shortages; pick and pack materials.
• Track inventory with data entry; schedule routine patient deliveries.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows; organize supplies.
