Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with daily operations, medication preparation, and patient support. You will help ensure accurate dispensing, maintain equipment, and support inventory control across the site.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and MS Office skills, and a focus on delivering quality patient service within a busy infusion environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant training preferred.
• Customer service experience in healthcare or pharmacy helpful.
• Ability to perform basic and intermediate math calculations and use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review and process basic prescription refill requests per policy.
• Assist with preparing, dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection and cleaning.
• Collect and maintain patient information for material planning.
• Respond to patient questions and assist with basic requests.
• Receive, verify, and stock incoming supplies; track inventory in systems.
• Schedule routine patient deliveries and keep work areas clean.
