Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support compounding operations under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist in California.

You will assist with preparation, labeling, and packaging of medications to ensure safe, accurate, and timely compounding processes. The role requires basic math, customer service, and strong organizational skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Licensed or registered if required by state.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prescription Compounding, Preparation, & Processing.
• Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in recording and maintaining pharmacy temperature & cleaning logs.
