Option Care Health, a leading home infusion provider, seeks a Compounding Technician I to work under a licensed Pharmacist. You will assist with preparation, labeling, and dispensing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to state regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean rooms, preparing medications, and supporting incident reporting. This role requires a high school diploma, basic math skills, and pharmacy technician experience, with licensing as required by state law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies, procedures and state regulations.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages of medications.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in the process for assessing, managing, and reporting medication related incidents.
