Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support compounding and dispensing in a clean room. You will assist pharmacists, prepare medications, and ensure accuracy in labeling and packaging.

The role emphasizes customer service, basic math, and documentation, with an on-site work setting. Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; licensure/registration may be required by state.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with internal/external customers.
• Ability to perform basic/intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word; strong Excel and PowerPoint basics.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policy.
• Prepare medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Label and package medications accurately.
• Record and report medication-related incidents as needed.
• Maintain pharmacy area cleanliness and logs for temperature and cleaning.
