Oneiro Management Group is seeking an Intake Specialist for our home infusion pharmacy in Stockton, CA. You will be the first point of contact, collecting patient information, verifying insurance, and coordinating infusion appointments.

The role requires strong administrative skills, medical terminology knowledge, and experience with EMR/EHR systems. HIPAA compliance and excellent customer service are essential to success.

Qualificações

• Experience in medical admin support in clinical or pharmacy settings.
• Proficient with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks.
• Knowledge of ICD-9/10, CPT coding and medical billing procedures.
• Strong organizational skills for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
• Experience with insurance verification including Medicare/Medicaid desirable.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patients.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data entry.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and providers professionally at the front desk or intake area.
• Collect and verify patient information and demographics using EMR.
• Review and update medical records ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Verify insurance coverage including Medicare/Medicaid; assist with authorizations.
• Schedule infusion appointments efficiently with multi-line phone systems.
• Document CPT/ICD coding and billing information accurately.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to obtain required medical documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Office for administrative tasks and reporting.
• Provide excellent patient service with prompt phone/in-person inquiries.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality in all data handling.
