Job summary

Infusion Services of Tacoma seeks a dedicated Infusion Pharmacist to manage the safe preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of infusion therapies for diverse patient populations. You will verify orders, assess dosing and compatibility, and collaborate with prescribers, nurses, and the care team to develop individualized therapy plans.

You will also maintain accurate documentation, manage inventory and cold-chain storage, ensure regulatory compliance, and engage in quality improvement

Qualifications

• Pharmacists must have infusion therapy management, sterile compounding, dose calculation and medication monitoring.
• Patient care and communication skills including counseling, education, empathy and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Organizational/technical skills: accurate documentation, time management, inventory control, and comfort using EHRs and pharmacy systems.
• Quality and safety focus: adherence to regulatory standards, infection control, and participation in continuous improvement.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent; active and unrestricted WA license required.
• Prior infusion/hospital/home infusion experience preferred.
• Knowledge of autoimmune, immunology, and chronic disease management; ability to interpret labs and adjust therapy.

Responsibilities
