Job summary

Infusion Services of Tacoma is seeking an Infusion Pharmacist for a full-time, on-site role near Kent, WA. You will oversee the safe preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of infusion therapies and collaborate with prescribers, nurses, and care teams.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage inventory and cold-chain storage, document actions accurately, and participate in quality improvement to enhance patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree; active and unrestricted pharmacist license in Washington State required.
• Prior infusion pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or home infusion services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of infusion therapies.
• Verify medication orders and perform clinical assessments for dosing and compatibility.
• Prepare sterile admixtures in accordance with USP and state standards.
• Collaborate with prescribers, nurses and care teams to develop therapy plans.
• Maintain documentation, manage inventory and cold-chain storage, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
