Job summary

Infusion Services of Tacoma is seeking an Infusion Pharmacist to oversee safe preparation, dispensing and monitoring of infusion therapies for diverse patient populations. You will verify orders, assess dosing for compatibility, and prepare sterile admixtures in alignment with USP and state standards.

You will collaborate with prescribers, nurses and the care team to develop therapy plans, provide counseling, support transitions of care between home and infusion sites, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent; WA license active and unrestricted.
• Strong infusion therapy, sterile compounding, dose calculation, and medication monitoring.
• Excellent patient counseling, education, empathy, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Organizational and technical skills: documentation, time management, inventory control, and pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of infusion therapies.
• Verify medication orders, assess dosing and compatibility, and prepare sterile admixtures.
• Collaborate with prescribers, nurses, and care team to develop individualized therapy plans and support transitions of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation, manage inventory and cold-chain storage, ensure regulatory compliance and participate in quality improvement.
