Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician registration or certification in good standing (or commitment to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prescription refills and outreach for specialty or infusion therapy.
• Gather information, lab results, and renewal details from patients and providers.
• Submit insurance re-authorizations and prior authorizations as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and escalate concerns to a pharmacist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and insurance documentation.
• Collaborate with pharmacy operations to support dispensing and shipping.
• Serve as a trusted contact while adhering to state Board of Pharmacy regulations and HIPAA.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient support workflows.
