UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is hiring a Regular Part-Time Professional Staff Nurse, ONC (RN) to support the Medical Oncology team at the Hillman Cancer Center in Shadyside, Pittsburgh, PA. The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a 20-hour per week daylight schedule Monday through Friday as a Treatment/Infusion Nurse for the Mario Lemieux Center and the 4th floor Medical Oncology team.

The incumbent will provide patient care, apply nursing processes, and collaborate with the care delivery team

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of RN experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• IV Skills preferred.
• Current PA, OH or NY RN licensure required according to facility location.
• CPR certification per AHA standards required within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care to Oncology patients and families.
• Demonstrates clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration with care team.
• Assists in education of patients, families, and staff.
• Maintains professional practice standards and participates in quality improvement.
