Confidential in Lewiston, Maine is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for day shifts in the infusion unit. This 12-week assignment offers a competitive per-shift pay of $56.00–$64.00, with up to $768 gross per shift depending on shift length.

You will administer chemotherapy and supportive infusions, monitor responses, educate patients and families, ensure HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with the care team to coordinate treatment.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license required.
• BLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum one year of RN oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
