Job summary

UNC Health Medical Group seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Infusion APP) to join a 52-chair, high-volume oncology infusion center in Raleigh, NC. You will manage same-day patient care, coordinate with physicians, nursing, and pharmacy, and handle treatment add-ons, clearances, and symptom evaluation to maintain throughput and outcomes.

You will be expected to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care, manage treatment-related toxicities, and participate in quality and care continuum

Qualifications

• Demonstrated clinical competency and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced oncology setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical abilities.
• Accurate documentation to support appropriate billing and care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Clinical: collect history, perform exams, interpret tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Education: inform patients/families about conditions and follow-up care. Create educational materials.
• Leadership: train and mentor staff, participate in rounds and meetings.
• Professional: communicate respectfully with patients, families and team; manage workload.
• Quality/Research: identify improvement opportunities and participate in program development.
