Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

• Board certification if required by department; DEA registration as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Clinical: obtain patient history, perform exams, develop diagnoses, and implement treatment plans with appropriate prescribing.
• Education: educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
• Leadership: provide instruction to staff and participate in outreach and quality initiatives.
• Professional: communicate respectfully with patients and team, ensure timely responses and collaboration.
• Quality/Research: engage in continuous quality improvement and lead interdisciplinary projects.
• Documentation: maintain clear medical records to support billing and care.
