Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to join the Infusion APP team at LCI-Morehead in Charlotte, NC. The role primarily cares for hematology and oncology patients in the infusion center.

Position features outpatient duties with some rotation to Pineville; team-based care with multi-disciplinary collaboration. 4 ten-hour days weekly; no call, minor holiday coverage, and shift details as described above.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program with prescriptive privileges and DEA license.
• Nurse practitioners require a master's or doctoral degree in nursing; NP certification.
• Physician assistants may have CAQ certification; PA certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience preferred; Hematology/Oncology experience preferred but not required.
• North Carolina licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Review abnormal labs, treatment toxicities, acute problems, and emergency management.
• Manage infusion/transfusion reactions and patient education.
• Participate in research and quality improvement projects.
• Outpatient focus with some rotation to Pineville infusion center.
• No call; 4 ten-hour days with occasional weekends and holidays.
