UNC Health Care's Oncology Infusion Raleigh is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with oncology and infusion therapy skills to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This full-time, day-shift role supports compassionate, patient-centered cancer care in a dedicated infusion setting.

You will deliver competent nursing care, coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families about treatment plans, and contribute to quality improvement and safe, efficient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Education: participates in identified learning needs and uses patient education materials.
• Evaluation of care: identifies expected outcomes and communicates with the team.
• Implementation: demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems and prioritizes care.
• Leadership: supports unit goals and safety, encourages interdepartmental collaboration.
• Patient assessment: synthesizes data to determine priorities for care and discharge planning.
• Planning: collaborates with patient/family to update the plan of care.
• Research: reads journals and discusses applicability with the staff.

Education
