Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level APRN or PA program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina; DEA certification.
• Board certification if required by the Department.

Responsibilities

• Obtains health history and completes physical exams; interprets diagnostic tests.
• Develops treatment plans and prescribes evidence-based therapies with privileging.
• Educates patients and families about their condition, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Leads and participates in clinician education and care coordination activities.
• Engages in quality improvement and protocol development for patient care.
• Maintains accurate medical records and supports efficient patient flow.
