Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or alternate infusion suite. You will ensure patient safety under a physician plan of care and work under structured supervision.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate documentation for billing and compliance. A valid RN license is required with CPR certification, and BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Preferred BSN degree with licensure.
• Infusion nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and coordinates intermediate nursing plan of care and evaluates patient progress.
• Administers medications and educates patients and families.
• Modifies plan of treatment based on patient status and physician orders.
• Documents care in real time and ensures timely billing.
• Mentors Infusion Nurse I and supports staff training.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and adheres to agency policies.
