Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.

• Current CPR certification required (in-person class).
• Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software.
• BSN preferred; infusion nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments.
• Administers medications and educates patients and families/caregivers.
• Obtains physician orders, informs physician of changes, and documents care in real time.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares discharge summaries.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s and coordinates team activities.
