Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our infusion team. This full-time onsite role requires nursing assessment, plan of care, patient education and collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality cancer care.

You will administer IV therapies, monitor patients, document thoroughly, and participate in safety and research integration. This position offers comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and a Monday–Friday schedule

Qualifications

• RN license and oncology training required or provided on the job.
• Current BLS certification renewed every two years.
• Oncology chemotherapy provider credentials required within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs and plan care accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on disease, treatment, side effects, and symptom management.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Administer IV hydration, chemotherapy/biotherapy, and blood products as needed.
• Monitor and modify care plans; integrate research into practice.
• Document thoroughly and communicate patient needs to the care team.
• Maintain safety with hazardous drugs and proper disposal procedures.
