Job summary

Local Infusion in Langhorne, PA is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator, an “Infusion Guide,” to coordinate referrals and intake while delivering top-tier patient service.

This full-time on-site role runs M-F, 8:00am–4:30pm. Compensation starts at $25/hr plus a quarterly bonus with full benefits. Prior medical chart review, insurance pre-authorizations, and EHR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Prior experience in infusion preferred.
• Insurance prior authorization experience.
• Medical terminology experience.
• Overall medical insurance knowledge.
• Ability to quickly grasp new apps.
• Experience with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation and communicate patient status.
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way.
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• 6-week training plan to help you succeed.
