Job summary

LUX Infusion, a clinician-led, U.S.-based organization, seeks a Full-Time Ambulatory Infusion Clinic Nurse (RN) to provide in-home and suite-based IV therapies within a designated metropolitan area. You will administer IV treatments, monitor patient responses, and collaborate with care teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role requires travel, a current RN license, IV certification, and at least two years of RN experience, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• IV certification with central line care.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
• Experience in home health, infusion, critical care, emergency nursing, or similar setting.
• Proficiency with venous access and phlebotomy.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Insert, manage, and remove peripheral and central IV lines (PICC, Port, Midline).
• Administer prescribed IV medications, fluids, and nutrition therapy.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
• Perform venipuncture and collect lab samples as ordered.
• Complete full patient assessments including vitals and review of systems.
• Document all clinical activity accurately and in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and line care.
• Coordinate and confirm patient visits in alignment with physician orders.
• Communicate patient status, concerns, and updates to providers and care teams.
• Travel to patient homes and clinical sites within assigned territory.
