UCI Health in Irvine seeks an experienced registered nurse to join the Infusion Center. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate care plans, and help ensure safe, evidence-based treatment for oncology patients.

You will model best practices for students and new Clinical Nurses while collaborating with physicians and the care team. Applicants should have oncology or med-surg experience, California RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN.

Qualifications

• Oncology or MedSurg nursing experience required or completed OCN Cancer Basics class.
• Current California RN license and BLS certification required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge and practice of infection control techniques.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care to an assigned group of patients in the Infusion Center.
• Assist in patient research and reviews patient schedules against available protocols.
• Act as a role model to students and Clinical Nurses new to the unit.
• Function as a Patient Care Coordinator as requested by supervisor/manager.
