Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine seeks a registered nurse for oncology care in the clinic, delivering direct and indirect patient care per the nursing process. You will be the primary contact for oncology patients and provide education about cancer care, procedures, and chemotherapy.

You will ensure a complete continuum of care from pre-procedure through discharge and follow-up, collaborating with physicians and clinic staff to support the practice's growth and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current CA RN license
• Experience in Oncology settings preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in the clinic
• Educate patients and families on cancer care, procedures, medications, and chemotherapy
• Coordinate continuum of care from pre-procedure to discharge and follow-up in physician offices
• Support faculty in clinic and assist with patient care sessions
