Job summary

Norwalk Hospital Association is seeking a skilled RN to coordinate the daily clinical activities of the chemotherapy infusion suite at the Whittinhgam Cancer Center. You will serve as a liaison between staff, physicians, and administration to maintain high-quality, safe patient care, and support RN training per national standards.

Qualifications

• Must have CT RN license and an associate degree or diploma in nursing with at least 5 years oncology experience.
• OCN certification preferred; BSN strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10, billing procedures and coding; familiarity with CPT/HCPCS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical activities of the infusion suite.
• Act as liaison between staff, physicians, and administration to ensure quality and safe patient care.
• Ensure oncology/hematology patients' medical and psychosocial needs are met; provide and reinforce RN training per national standards.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and committees.
