Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for its Ambulatory Infusion Center. This pivotal role involves direct patient care, administering IV/IM/SC therapies, and managing infusion-related care plans.

The NP will ensure effective treatment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, providing guidance to support staff, and participating in quality initiatives. Preferred qualifications include experience in IV therapy and proficiency in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state.
• Board certification as an NP (FNP, AGNP, or applicable specialty).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of NP experience in a clinical setting.
• Prior experience with IV therapy or infusion services.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, hands-on patient care.
• Prescribe and manage medications related to infusion care.
• Order and interpret labs, diagnostics, and therapy-specific tests.
• Oversee and perform IV, IM, and SC medication administration.
• Create, document, and update individualized infusion care plans.
• Conduct initial patient evaluations for therapy appropriateness.
