Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Ambulatory Infusion Center to deliver direct patient care, manage infusion therapies, and ensure safe treatment per evidence-based practices. You will build infusion care plans, document in the EHR, and collaborate with physicians and nurses.

The NP will handle payer credentialing, coordinate with medical directors, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while staying compliant with HIPAA and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral NP degree from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted NP license in the practicing state.
• Board certification as NP (FNP/AGNP or equivalent).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year NP clinical experience.
• Experience with IV therapy or infusion services.
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHR).
• Credentialing-ready: maintain licensure and payer documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, hands-on patient care including assessments and treatment of infusion-related conditions.
• Prescribe and manage medications related to infusion care.
• Oversee IV/IM/SC administration and monitor for adverse events.
• Create and update individualized infusion care plans in the EHR.
• Coordinate care with medical directors and staff for care continuity.
• Participate in quality improvement and credentialing processes.
