Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. in Columbia, SC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Ambulatory Infusion Center. The NP provides direct patient care, administers IV/IM/SC therapies, and develops infusion care plans within evidence-based practice.

You will credential for payers, collaborate with physicians, ensure patient safety, educate patients, and participate in quality and operational initiatives across the center. Travel between local infusion centers may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral NP degree from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted NP license in practicing state.
• Board certification as NP (FNP/AGNP or applicable).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year NP clinical experience.
• Prior IV therapy or infusion services experience.
• Proficient in electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care including assessments and infusion-related treatment.
• Prescribe and manage medications related to infusion care.
• Order and interpret labs and therapy-specific tests.
• Oversee IV/IM/SC administration and monitor for adverse events.
• Create and maintain infusion care plans with thorough documentation in EHR.
• Coordinate care with medical directors, referring physicians and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and credentialing processes.
