Job summary
Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Morenci, AZ, is seeking a skilled technician to install and support computer hardware, networking and communications systems on-site.
You will configure and troubleshoot devices, assist in managing servers and MIS infrastructure, and participate in safety programs while supporting site goals. Ideal candidates have 4 years of hardware/software troubleshooting experience (or 6 years) with a relevant technical certification; on-site work is required, and the role offers
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair (or 6 years with no certification).
- On-site candidate must have a relevantTechnical Certification or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up, deliver and install PCs, telephones, networking, and peripheral equipment.
- Configure, install, troubleshoot, and monitor communications devices and networking infrastructure (switches, hubs, wireless, MESH).
- Assist in managing site servers and process control infrastructure (virtual/physical servers, storage).
- Assist in executing MIS and process infrastructure projects.
- Participate in Safety and Environmental programs; ensure MIS policy compliance and site goals.
- Perform other duties as required.
