Zusammenfassung

Stantec’s New York City office is seeking a highly motivated Technical Lead to support our infrastructure practice and lead project delivery across the New York City Metropolitan area. In this role, you’ll work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of engineers, and Project Managers to support our building, transit and rehabilitation projects.

Stantec’s New York City office is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan, with a focus on safety, quality, and collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• PE license in NY/NJ or ability to obtain
• 10–15 years of structural design experience
• Strong knowledge of NYSBC, NYCBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI
• Ability to mentor and lead engineers

Aufgaben

• Lead development of design deliverables with compliance to criteria and standards
• Provide oversight and technical overview of designs; act as Technical Lead or EOR for transportation, buildings, schools, and structures
• Monitor design milestones to ensure timely project completion
• Mentor and develop engineers across the team
• Lead preparation of construction documents in line with agency standards
• Resolve complex technical problems and exercise independent decision making
• Review and approve construction documents; provide design support during construction (Shop Drawings, RFIs, field changes)
• Coordinate with internal disciplines (highway, traffic, geotechnical, drainage, lighting)
• Provide QA/QC oversight and ensure technical excellence
