Job summary

City of Dallas is seeking an Engineering and Architecture Technical Lead to provide highly technical supervision of engineers, project coordinators, architects and landscape architects. You will lead a team in the planning, delivery, and operation of major infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes ensuring technical quality, coordinating with stakeholders, and aligning capacity and skillsets to meet delivery expectations within City standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Construction Management.
• Six (6) years of progressive experience in engineering or architecture as a licensed engineer, architect or landscape architect.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Professional Engineering License, Architectural License or Landscape Architect License.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of engineering, architectural, or landscape architectural designs and projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Develop and review capital improvement plans ensuring compliance with standards.
• Manage bidding process and contract awards for projects.
