Job summary

City of Dallas is seeking an Engineering and Architecture Technical Lead to supervise engineers, project coordinators, architects, and landscape architects on major infrastructure projects. You will lead planning, design, and construction efforts while ensuring compliance with city, state and federal standards.

The role requires strong leadership, robust project management skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver high-impact public works in Dallas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Construction Management.
• Six (6) years of progressive experience in engineering or architecture as a licensed engineer, architect or landscape architect.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate development estimates in support of feasibility assessments and planned development activities.
• Creates, maintains, reviews and approves designs in collaboration with Architect and Engineer Teams, ensuring alignment to codes and standards.
• Manages, leads, and provides technical oversight over engineering, architectural, or landscape architectural designs and construction contracts for public infrastructure projects.
• Supervises a team of engineers, project coordinators, architects, landscape architects, and senior project managers to complete planning, design, and construction of infrastructure projects.
• Collaborates with consultants, inspectors, contractors, and other agencies to complete design and construction of all infrastructure projects.
