Job summary

Stripe seeks a Strategy & Operations leader for its Infra team to drive the long-term vision and operating plans across product, engineering, finance, and data functions. You will translate performance trends into strategic infrastructure decisions and financial plans that support Stripe’s growth.

You will model capacity, analyze metrics, and guide investments while pushing cross-functional programs that improve efficiency without sacrificing speed.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in strategy & operations, data science, finance, product management, or similar roles at technology companies.
• Experience working in highly cross functional settings, spanning strategy, analysis, and operations.
• Critical and first principles thinking with ability to question processes and focus on key questions.
• Passion for data-driven problem solving and deep data analysis.
• Experience in data analytics with ability to navigate large data sets and SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across leadership and teams like partnerships, product, engineering, and sales.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without formal authority.
• Balance of business and technical acumen; able to execute in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term strategic vision and build the annual operating plans aligned with Stripe's strategy.
• Monitor infrastructure costs and trends, surfacing opportunities and risks.
• Create and own models for in-depth analyses and benchmark metrics to guide growth decisions.
• Focus on infrastructure efficiency metrics and drive initiatives to move the needle.
• Lead cross-functional execution across priority projects and align product, engineering, marketing, sales, and support.
• Design and implement operational systems (reporting dashboards, planning forums, decision-making workflows) to scale the infrastructure group.
