Job summary

The City of Arvada is seeking an organized Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee capital and operational projects across Facilities, Public Works, and Utilities. You will coordinate budgets, contracts, and strategic initiatives with multiple departments and partners to advance the City’s infrastructure goals.

Qualifications

• Plans, coordinates, and manages capital and operational projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinates procurement and contract administration for consultants, contractors, vendors, and service providers; monitors deliverables, schedules, costs, and performance and maintains documentation.
• Develops and monitors project budgets, cost estimates, expenditures, and forecasts; identifies variances and supports budget development.
• Supports asset management, infrastructure planning, sustainability, energy management, resiliency, and emergency preparedness initiatives.
• Prepares and presents project plans, status reports, analyses, and recommendations; facilitates meetings for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and manages assigned capital and operational projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinates multidisciplinary projects and initiatives across City departments and external partners to align resources and deliver objectives.
• Coordinates procurement and contract administration for consultants, contractors, vendors, and service providers; monitors deliverables and performance.
• Develops and monitors budgets, cost estimates, expenditures, and forecasts; supports annual operating and capital budget development.
