Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support financial, scheduling, and administrative performance of Infrastructure projects across Florida. The role blends project controls, financial analysis, and project management support in a collaborative consulting environment.

Location may be Tampa, Sarasota, or Miami. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business/finance and 4+ years of project coordination and financial analysis experience, with strong Excel and ERP skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities across several projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on advanced Excel.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems and client portals.
• Experience with project dashboards and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Support project cost, schedule, forecast, and resource tracking across multiple active projects.
• Maintain accurate project financial data, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Assist with development and maintenance of project budgets, estimates, schedules, and proposals.
• Support contract administration from project setup through close-out, including subconsultant coordination and compliance tracking.
• Assist with invoicing, budget verification, and Accounts Receivable follow-up.
• Coordinate with subconsultants regarding invoice reviews, revisions, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare project documentation including reports, correspondence, transmittals, setup forms, and implementation plans.
• Maintain organized project records and document control systems.
• Support internal quality management requirements, audits, and compliance (ISO-related or similar).
• Enter and maintain staffing and resource assignments in internal resource management tools.
• Track and log project administration items such as RFIs, submittals, and related documents.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Leads, Project Controls staff, and Business Center leadership to support successful project delivery.
