Job summary

JLL in Mountain View, CA is seeking a senior-level Project Manager to lead strategic infrastructure improvement initiatives from scope through delivery. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and vendors to keep projects on time and within budget, overseeing schedules, budgets, and documentation throughout all phases.

The role requires 5+ years in project/construction management, strong communication, leadership, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
5+ years in project or construction management.
3+ years managing technical infrastructure (MEPSF systems) preferred.
PE, AIA, LEED, CMAA certification an asset.
PMP certification or pursuit preferred.
Proficiency with Google Suite.
Proficiency with Clarizen and Procore PM tools.
Willing to travel as needed.
On-site client-facing role with office/site work.
Strong organization, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Detail oriented and thorough.
Proven excellent internal and external customer service.
Excellent oral and written communication, including presentations.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, monitor, control and close projects.
Collaborate with Client’s Technical Services Team to optimize delivery.
Develop ROM level project estimates for funding approval.
Prepare agendas and maintain master project schedules and budgets.
Ensure plan, scope, schedule and budget are maintained.
Select and manage project team and resources through bidding and vendor selection.
Monitor progress via site visits, procurement tracking and contractor performance.
Conduct project meetings and maintain minutes; coordinate updates and reviews.
Review requisitions, change orders and invoices.
Oversee document preparation (contracts, close-outs, punch lists).
Lead leadership, coordination with stakeholders and program improvements.
Adhere to policies; understand permitting processes and obtain approvals.
Conduct value engineering based on BOD and site conditions.
Increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Create and evaluate project reporting; provide status updates.
Assist with strategic internal program improvements.
Manage day-to-day client experience and expectations.
Input for account reporting and KPI tracking.
Lead energy and carbon projects (solar PV, energy storage, LED lighting retrofits, HVAC, BMS, etc.).
Understand HVAC and Renewable Systems architecture to identify requirements.
